How it decides

Personalize it. Read it at a glance. Plan around it.

The vessel settings screen, with a maximum wind speed, a wave height and a precipitation limit

Set your limits

Name what you take out, then the wind, wave height and precipitation you are willing to accept. The gust cap comes off your wind limit, so it is not a fourth number to carry. A sailboat can set a floor as well as a ceiling.

Read the verdict

One stamp at the top of the screen. Tap it and it tells you what held the rating back, in a sentence you can act on rather than a table you have to work out.

The hourly forecast with a run of GO hours followed by NO-GO hours

Find your window

Every hour carries its own verdict, so the good run has a visible start and a visible end. You can see whether the day holds long enough to get back.
